In 2010, the Flagship Enterprise Center launched Bankable to create a place that could provide access to affordable capital and coaching for Indiana small businesses that weren’t quite ready for the bank. Bankable is a certified SBA lender that can provide flexible microloans to Hoosier small businesses.
The Bankable team works with entrepreneurs at any stage of business to build their credit, secure capital, increase financial literacy, and grow sound business foundations to make them Bankable in the future.
Bankable is a non-profit, Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), a certified SBA micro lender, and Community Advantage lender. All of that to say, Bankable is committed and authorized to work with Indiana small businesses to find fair and affordable solutions for their business when the bank isn’t the right fit yet.
In addition to the above certifications and program accolades, Bankable is deeply committed to serving the underserved immersing ourselves in communities where we can be held accountable and learn how to better advance fair lending practices, racial equality, and credit/equity building initiatives for Hoosiers.
Mission lending non-profits help small businesses who are not yet Bankable to have another option that is safe and a catalyst for their development. Bankable is an alternative to predatory online lenders and preparatory for a bank lending relationship.
We simply could not do what we do and help the small businesses we help without the support from our partners.
We may be a little biased, but we feel pretty confident in saying we have the best group of individuals in the entire world committed to serving the small businesses of Indiana.
